BGaming has finally jumped on the Megaways bandwagon, and Aztec Magic Megaways is their very first release with the ultra-popular dynamic reels engine. The Mesoamerican-inspired theme is probably no coincidence, as they have several releases with similar visuals in their back catalog. We’re talking, of course, about their Aztec Magic series, and the rather simple gameplay from this range is also carried over into this Megaways debut.
The base game is pretty barebones for a Megaways release, and there is no progressive multiplier or even cascading wins. You’ll have to rely on the up to 117,649 win ways in other words, combined with occasional multiplier wilds up to x3. The wilds are sticky in the bonus round, and the x2 Chance ante bet doubles your feature chances. The bonus buy option is available in some jurisdictions, but not the UK, and overall this is a mediocre Megaways release.
The premium symbols pay between 0.8 and 10 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins, and theAztec Pyramid Wildsteps in for all regular pay symbols to help complete winning combinations. The wild may be assigned with amultiplier of x2 or x3at random times, and these combine if more than one multiplier wild is involved in the same win. The wild cannot appear on reel 1.

BGaming has perhaps not chosen the most original theme for their Megaways debut, but the pace of the game is excellent with the turbo switched on and if you hold down the spin button.
